HUR and HUR Labs announce merger
Leading provider of intelligent exercise solutions for rehabilitation and senior wellness, HUR Oy, and global provider of products for testing human physical performance, HUR Labs Oy, have merged on the 1st of April 2017. Together the companies provide world-leading solutions for different fields of rehabilitation and active ageing.
HUR continues to manufacture the testing equipment as before the merger, and will now also oversee sales and distribution. HUR Labs CEO, Mr Anssi Lipsonen, will take the role as Business Development Director of Testing products at HUR. Mr Lipsonen, who initiated the fusion, is excited about the new possibilities.
- After working so many years together, side by side, within the same group of companies, it is now time to join forces and give both companies the best prerequisites in the shared segments of rehabilitation, senior exercise and research. We will of course also continue to offer high level solutions to sports science and professional sport teams.
With the merger, all former HUR Labs employees continue at HUR; Mr Timo Toivonen as Product Manager, Mr Anders Nyman as Art Director, and Mr Taneli Peltoniemi as Software Specialist.
