Schools

HUR equipment offers young people a safe, easily accessible introduction to exercise. It improves physical literacy and by matching the body’s natural muscular movement helps understanding of how the body functions, providing educational as well as physiological benefits.

Safer for young people
HUR makes exercise safer by using air as resistance to overcome the initial effort required to lift a static weight at the beginning of an exercise and to slow it down at the end – reducing stress on developing joints and connective tissues.

Well balanced, effective exercise
HUR works opposing muscle groups in one exercise (i.e. both eccentrically and concentrically) in the same way the body is designed to function, developing better-balanced, effective results.

Easy to use
The + and – resistance button is easy to understand and use.

Discourages competitiveness and reduces intimidation
There are no visible weight stacks; only the user can see the resistance level.

Smart Card option provides a format that young people relate to
On screen videos reinforce exercise technique. The card automatically sets levels and updates programmes. Only exercises performed correctly are recorded. Data collected can be used for cross-curricular study in schools.

No noise
Improves communication when used in a teaching environment.
