The Position - Android developer

Join our software team. As an Android developer, you will be part of a small and agile development team and will be challenged with many types of projects. Your main tasks will be to develop, test, maintain and expand the SW of the next generation of HUR training equipment.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Contributing to on-going software development efforts on day-to-day basis
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality 
  • Working on bug fixing and improving application performance 
  • Collaborating closely with the rest of the software design team and with cross-functional teams 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a combination of post-secondary education and work experience
  • 2+ years of work experience with Android OS and Android Programming / Android Studio / Embedded systems

Requirements & Primary Skills

  • Experience working with 
    o    Android OS and Android Programming / Android Studio
    o    Object Oriented Programming (especially Java)   
    o    Git, Bitbucket, Jira etc. or similar tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic Signal Processing knowledge
  • Knowledge of embedded systems
  • Excellent problem-solving & team working skills
