HUR and Dividat at IFAS 2014

This year for the first time, in October, HUR and Dividat exhibited together at IFAS, the Swiss “Trade Fair for the Healthcare Market”.

Our stand was especially designed to give interested decision makers from senior hostels, hospitals and physiotherapies an impression about a training centre adjusted towards the needs of older adults that aim at improving and maintaining their ability to perform daily activities.

Our core message: To enhance gait quality and to prevent falls in older adults, a training intervention program should include strength- and balance training in combination with training of executive functions, such as divided attention. Strength- and balance training can be optimally implemented with the age-adapted HUR equipment, for balance training and analysis the balance platform of HUR labs was presented and the Dividat step plate for cognitive motor training. The interplay of appropriate products in a research-based concept seemed to be highly appreciated by our visitors.
